How It Works

The protection film is made of elastomeric polymers, which are resistant to stretching and structural changes, and highly buoyant. Clear bra kits are offered in different thicknesses. There’s a “partial front” kit that can be used to cover the front bumper, partial front bender, both mirrors, headlights, and partial hood. For general protection, this is the recommended minimum amount of protection that you should get. You can also get a “full front” kit which includes protection for the full front fender and full hood, on top of the front bumper, mirrors, headlights protection. For a “full vehicle” kit, you get everything from the “full front” kit along with the rocker panels, doors, rear bumper, rear decklid, and the whole roof and pillars. As you might expect, the full vehicle kit is what you get if you want total paint protection.
For an added layer of protection, many car owners also apply a ceramic coating treatment which covers the clear bra and thickens the car’s coating. The ceramic coating adds enhanced protection to the paint and better resistance to chemicals, water, UV-rays, and scratches. Lastly, the coating also makes cleanup a breeze.
